Jodi Guthro

Jodi Guthro, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia to Bruce and Kim Guthro, hails from a family with deep musical roots. She quickly established herself as a respected singer-songwriter in the music industry. Splitting her time between Halifax and Nashville, Jodi writes songs for top country artists, including Walker Hayes. Songwriting is her true passion. Over the years, she has attended Gordie Sampson’s songwriting events in Ingonish and has collaborated with various songwriters such as Caitlyn Smith, Sampson, members of Port Cities, Neon Dreams (co-writing their new single “Find A Way”), and Quake Matthews. https://www.instagram.com/jodi.guthro/

Charlie A’Court

Rooted in soul and tradition, Charlie A’Court’s powerful voice, dynamic guitar skills, and modern songwriting have garnered him an international fanbase and numerous awards. His latest solo album, “Come On Over,” won the 2015 Blues Recording of the Year at both the East Coast Music Awards and Music Nova Scotia Awards. Growing up in rural Nova Scotia, Charlie developed his musical talent early, learning guitar and exploring his father’s vinyl collection, where he discovered legends like Otis Redding and Sam Cooke. Dave Gunning

With fourteen albums to his credit, Dave Gunning’s impressive body of work establishes him as a prolific and highly respected Nova Scotian folk musician. Having shared the stage with legends like Ron Hynes, Rita MacNeil, Stuart McLean, and Stompin’ Tom Connors, Gunning is celebrated as an award-winning singer-songwriter and captivating performer. Known for his storytelling abilities and connection with audiences, music has always been Gunning’s way of interpreting the world and engaging with his community. Drawing inspiration from his Pictou County, Nova Scotia backyard, he shines a light on underdogs and tackles social and environmental issues, such as his public stance against a local polluting pulp mill. Gunning’s performances are a finely-tuned balance of sincerity and humor, making him one of Canada’s most engaging entertainers. Dave Sampson

Dave Sampson writes heart-on-your-sleeve folk/pop songs, delivered with a captivating and authentic voice that could blow down a brick house. His knack for crafting simple earworms and his high-energy shows have been winning him fans from coast to coast. Collaborating with some of Canada’s top artists such as Classified, Alan Doyle, Donovan Woods, and Neon Dreams, as well as being chosen for Canada’s Walk of Fame Emerging Artist Program, Dave has been working hard to solidify his position as one of Canada’s top emerging songwriters. In 2016, Dave’s song “No Pressure” was sampled by Canadian hip-hop icon Classified and released as his first single via Atlantic Records with Snoop Dogg.
